Two respected authors have come out with some new books recently. Rick McIntyre is back with a third book telling the tale of Wolf 302. Rick’s portrayal of the wolves reflects his intimate knowledge of the individual personalities of these fascinating animals. He adds his encyclopedic knowledge of the history of wolves in Yellowstone and of the species. I have no doubt this book will be another favorite!

Another book that promises to be interesting is from John A. Vucetich. John is the leader of the Isle Royale Wolf-Moose Project. It’s the longest-running predator/prey relationship study. The island provides a great classroom for researchers. In this book, John shares his insights and knowledge of wolves and gives thought to what they can teach us in our relationship to nature.
